Hi Guys

Went out yesterday and got this shot of a bee approaching a flower, I was just using my 24-70 to take some shots of the flower when the bee turned up. I was happy to actually catch him in focus with this lens.

I like it, but I think it might be better with more cropped off the left hand side?

I think the crop improves it. An amazing capture.

2nd one does work well, balanced well and detail in flower and bee is great.

Second image definitely better. I think I would be tempted to clone or tone down the white splodges on the right hand side though.
Kind regards

Maggie

You did very well to capture that bee in flight, not easy.

Thanks Roy ....

Got a bit lucky I guess. He turned up when I was shooting the flower so I just had a go .... Had about 20 shots with him out of focus but then this one was bang on the money !! I was very happy ...

The crop and re edit is now spot on - cropping close rather than lose detail has brought more detail to the bee in particular
